A visit to Grampie and Grammie Johnsons!:)

Last Tuesday, Grampie and Grammie Johnson had us over for the day!:) We had such a special visit with them and it was a real treat to spend the day together! We love being at their house!): It's like a "home away from home!"

Mama and Grammie hugging

Our lunch table set and ready. We were told to come hungry...and we did!!( Grammie made the table so pretty and the plates she used were lovely and still child proof! They look like china but, were paper.)

Surprise!:) Isaiah's birthday was coming up so Grammie made a fresh cobbler and decorated it with race cars!:)
"Who told, her?"
Blowing out his candles:)
After lunch, the three little ones went down for a nap like they usually do. Natey doesn't take one but, always lays down till the younger ones are asleep. Being in a new room and all, the little ones had a harder time going to sleep but, after a little singing they were fast asleep and Natey headed outside to play.

Exploring the toys. (This was later when Joshua had woken up.)

Sleeping Timmy:)
Sleeping Joshua:)

Ryan, Timmy and Isaiah playing with the tracks.
Timmy really enjoyed the train track.
"No, Timothy, that stays on the track."

One thing the younger ones really enjoyed was using all the dress-up!

Joshua, a knight in cowboy boots:)
"Nice sword, little guy!"
Natey, the lion. It didn't quite fit..:)
Defending the women and children.
Trains....
"A game of Uno, Ashley?"
Armouring the Knight
While Ryan and the younger ones playes upstairs, Mama helped Grammie and Grampie put away the Christmas decorations still up.
Back to the dress-up. Natey, the chicken and Isaiah, the Girraff:)
A Gorilla:)
Isaiah. If he was an animal, I think it would be safe to say he'd be a Gorilla!:)
Lovely Princess Caytlin:)
Katie and Daniel, her Knight.
Three cowboys:) I was surprised how long it took them to find this gear!:)
"Isaiah's serious, Folks!"
Natey's days as a Knight.
After the dress-up, dinnertime rolled around. We enjoyed another delicious meal with Grampie and Grammie.:)
Sandwhiches and Soup:)
I wasn't able to get to many good dinner shots but, this one was too cute to pass up!:) Finishing Dinner. (That was especially enjoyable as Grampie shared a story about when he was in the marines as a young man and his adventures.)
After dinner, Mama regretfully told Grampie and Grammie we needed to get home and get to bed. we all exchanged hugs and thanked them both for their hospitality and the very fun day we had! They walked us out to our car and said their last goodbyes.
We are so grateful to the Lord for placing Grampie and Grammie Johnson in our lives! We love them very much and they are a special gift from the Lord!:)
Thank you, Grampie and Grammie for the wonderful visit!:) We love you!!:)
