Part Two.....

Well, as you can imagine....I almost dropped the phone!

Now I was even more upset/excited as I looked and saw the house probably wouldn't be ready and clean in time!!!! The kids were all dancing and shouting for joy and they began to work quickly! Boy, I thought, why couldn't daddy have called earlier???

Mom and Dad arrived and began to get mom's stuff. Dad took Ryan and I and explained that I was now gonna be in charge but Ryan would manage his boys. Mom gave me a list of things that needed to be done and then left with dad.

The rest of the day was spent waiting cleaning and watching a movie, but at 6:00pm dad called me to tell me he had sent an email and picture of my new brother! Rushing to the computer I found the email and forwarded it to friends and family!

It said,

Timothy Donald Sebo

7lbs 8oz. born 5:55pm
19 and a half inches long

How exciting!!!!!!!!!!

Later that evening dad came and picked us up to visit Timothy and mommy! It was worth missing the trip to Georgia...I thought as I held my new little brother and I knew that the Lord wanted to show me his planning was best. I was also very encouraged by three dear friends of mine, Rachel and Rebecca Stevens, and Sarah McIntire. They had not gone but were cheerfully serving their families,(which was better than doing a thousand CI's), had encouraged me to serve and love my family, and that God''s plan is always best. Every time I look at my little Timothy, I remember what those three dear girls said, how it all came to be and how God's is always working to show me more of His infinite power and love for me!

Timothy Donald Sebo

It was a regular Monday morning, as I(Ashley) dragged myself out of bed. I looked at my clock at almost jumped out of my pajamas! Eight o clock already! Boy, I need to get up earlier, I thought. I was quickly greeted by little Joshua who was ready to be dressed. He looked at me as if to say, "Where have you been? I've been up for almost an hour!" I knew alot needed to be done and I was kinda grouchy as I dressed him for that reason and also because my friends were all enjoying themselves in Georgia while I was watching kids and doing alot of hard work. ( Not to mention that they were probably all busy and working hard too.) I must admit I was also kinda upset because mom and dad were going to be gone all morning for a check-up at the doctors. I knew that mom expected the kids showered and the house cleaned before she got home. That was the way my week usually started.

Mom had assigned Katie and I the job of making Apple Crisp for breakfast so out came the apples, sugar flour and all. Since I'm bad at peeling with a knife it took longer to peel those apples than I expected. After a long wait, I told poor, little Caytlin to go and take her shower while I peeled the apples! She was happy to do something and so off she ran.

Dad had left the computer on and Daniel who was having a wonderful time designing pictures on the computer while Ryan showering and Isaiah still sleeping.Well, I thought, no trouble.

Next came Nathanael who was not easy to dress! He wanted to be a cowboy in his pajamas! I explained that he would not look like any of the 'cowboys" from the DHP film "In The Eagles Nest" in his pajamas, to which he let me dress him and went back to his play.

As I was working to try to get everyone ready for the day and the house cleaned up, a thought struck me, "Huh, wouldn't it be funny if mom had the baby today?" Of course I brushed that thought aside and returned to work.

Katie soon appeared all clean and dressed for the day and I gave her some apples to chop up. Happy and content, I left her to go take my own shower. Upon returning, Isaiah had woken up and was hungry. I briefly explained that It had taken me a while to peel the apples and that breakfast would be ready soon.

The morning past swiftly and I was grouchy when I called Dad and said "Dad, ___(to protect the not so innocent) is giving me trouble." Dad replied" Tell____ that they can't give you trouble because mom's coming home to get her bag and then we are off to the hospital!"

I like this....

IF JESUS CAME TO YOUR HOUSE
If Jesus came to your home to spend a day or two —
if He came unexpectedly, I wonder what you'd do?
Oh, I know you'd give your nicest room to such an honored Guest,
and all the food you'd serve Him would be the very best,
and you would keep assuring Him you're glad to have Him there —
that serving Him in your home is joy beyond compare. But —
when you see Him coming,
would you meet Him at the doorwith arms outstretched in welcome, to your heavenly Visitor?Or would you have to change your clothes before you let Him in,or hide some magazines, and put the Bible where they'd been?Would you turn off the radio and hope He hadn't heard, and wish you hadn't uttered that last, loud, hasty word?Would you hide your worldly music and put some hymn books out?Could you let Jesus walk right in, or would you rush about? And I wonder — if the Savior spent a day or two with you, would you go right on doing things you always do?Would you go right on saying the things you always say?Would life for you continue as it does from day to day?Would your family conversation keep its usual pace, and would you find it hard each meal to say table grace?Would you sing the songs you always sing, and read the books you read, and let Him know the things on which your mind and spirit feed?Would you take Jesus with you everywhere you planned to go?Or would you, maybe, change your plans for just a day or so?Would you be glad to have Him meet your very closest friends,or would you hope they stay away until His visit ends?Would you be glad to have Him stay forever on and on,or would you sigh with great relief when He at last was gone?It might be interesting to know the things that you would do,if Jesus came in person to spend some time with you.

What are you?

Wreckers or Builders

I watched them tearing a building down,a gang of men in a busy town.
With a ho-heave-ho and lusty yell, they swung a beam and a sidewall fell.
I asked the foreman, "Are these men skilled,as the men you'd hire if you had to build?"
He gave me a laugh and said, "No indeed!
Just common labour is all I need.I can easily wreck in a day or twowhat builders have taken a year to do.
"And I tho't to myself as I went my way, which of these two roles have I tried to play?
Am I a builder who works with care, measuring life by the rule and square?
Am I shaping my deeds by a well-made plan, patiently doing the best I can?
Or am I a wrecker, who walks the town, content with the labour of tearing down?

Pastor Tomlinson of Liberty Baptisit Church used this poem in his sermon on Sunday January 27th, 2008. He asked a very important question. "Are you a wrecker or a builder in your life?"
Chew on that for awhile......

Joshua's Birthday!!!!!

That's right! He's 2! He's grown soo fast!

We started the day off with his first haircut! He wasn't quite sure what we were doing to him but he was perfectly still for the barber and she was thrilled! Whenever she or anyone else said "Happy Birthday" he would wish them so too!
After that we took him to Hometown Buffet where he enjoyed macaroni and cheese, french fries, chocolate milk and more! Full and happy, we left to go to LA (my aunt was waving from Italy and we needed to go pick her up) on the way up we stopped at a small dutch store and visited some friends! We got to pick out a special treat and took a cute picture of Joshua in a dutch boy's hat! We had to do his cake and present another day but, he enjoyed the farm truck with animals and farmer, and cake and ice cream!
Thank the Lord for giving us such a blessing! Truly as the Bible says, Children are a heritage from the Lord!

More pictures.....

Playing on the Trampoline.

One of my favorite things to do in my spare time is play with Joshua and Natey on the trampoline. Although I look ridiculous and messy it is still sooo much fun! We often get pretty wild! Here are some pictures.

"The Runaway Object"

This little boy has had many adventures. Some which will be written for you to read and others are yet to come. Perhaps one day you will be part of one .......we shall see.
He was having good day, mum was teaching the older kids while he roamed around free. Free! It was so nice not to be cooped up in his horrible playpen or monstrous crib. Well not monstrous, but certainly annoying when one is full of energy and wants to explore the world. So off he toddled down the hallway the small pit pat of his feet could be heard. He was determined to use up some of that energy!
Halfway down the hall he stopped and turned around to see his big sister Ashley coming. He smiled and quickly turned back to his mission. Slowing his pace he saw something. What was it? He did not know, but one thing for sure, he knew was he was going to find out. He broke into a run and after arriving next to the strange object he bent over to examine it. Reaching out to grab it he was surprised to see it disappear! For a minute he stared then tried again. It disappeared again! After several times of failing he was a bit frustrated, but he was not about ready to give up! Again he tried and again but every time it disappeared when he tried to grasp it! Now what should he do???? He thought for awhile and then began to shout at it! "Go! Go!" When that didn't work he stamped his foot and shaking his finger at it yelled "Stop! Stop!" Nothing happened. He was quite confused and worried. Big sister Ashley approached him laughing and said " Joshua look." With that she closed the door and the strange thing disappeared. He was stunned! When Ashley opened the door again he had to look twice! There it was again! Now he knew it had something to do with the door and that he could not pick it up so with that he toddled off back to his mission. Later he heard Ashley saying something about "a light beam.......... and Joshua.......It was so funny.....he didn't know what it was.......tried to pick it up" He wondered and smiled at his sister who had come out of the room. Afraid she would put him in his "Prison" (the crib) he scampered off quickly. No one was going to get the best of him, No Sir...............except for maybe a light beam.

Here is our baby growing strong and healthy under the tender, loving care of our dear Lord. It is to soon to tell whether it is a boy or girl. So we'll just have to wait! In the mean time thanks to all those of who are praying!

Number 8 is on the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I haven't posted in a long time! We have been especially busy since we found out that mum is expecting another baby! We are all very excited! Mum has already had several doctor appointments and is doing healthy besides feeling sick! She has an absolutely funny diet. She often will wake daddy at some hour of the night and ask him to go and get her some tacos or a burger. Her cravings are tacos, burgers, jalapeno bites and ice cream! The due date for the baby is sometime around April 13th. Please keep praying! I'll try to keep you posted!
