Mexi Casa was first introduced to Momma as a young person by the Brethren fellowship she grew up in. This particular day, we ran into a couple Momma knows from that fellowship-The John Spences!:) It was really neat as introductions were exchanged and the Lord was very much with us.:) It was a special moment for Momma to introduce her new Pastor to someone from the fellowship were she was saved!:) Pastor Fox thanked Mr. Spence for his part in Momma's life and said he was grateful to "have her (and the family) now".:)
Once again we got to sit in our "usual spot"!;) Here Timothy is explaining to Ashlee F. "how it works."
Daddy and the boys sat with Pastor Fox at one end of the table and we ladies sat on the other end.
Choosing something to eat.....(The bracelet Natey is wearing is one of the survival bracelets Daddy made for us children. This is a new craft he taught us, and has already made several of them for people outside the family! He incorporated the gospel colors into it using beads-making it not only useful physically but spiritually!!)
Our faithful waitress, Tina. She's getting to know our orders pretty well now!;)
We are attempting to try out all the different dishes on the menu! We always order the same thing- Nachitos. So, we are branching out now.
Waiting for the food, Pastor and the boys were playing a game on their paper place mats...;)When Momma was little it was a special treat for her to come here with Uncle Daniel. They always drew on their place mats- either a game or verse etc. while waiting for their food.
The daughter end of the table: "Ashlee, Ashley, Amy and Caytlin"-We had a wonderful time with lots of laughter and smiles! ( Caytlin and I have really enjoyed getting to know these sisters better! They are a real blessing with their joyful and loving spirits! They have became really special friends in a short time!)
The men, who especially need godly fellowship, as they are the ones who leave the home most, and carry the responsibility of leading and guiding their families enjoyed a good visit. Dad has enjoyed getting to know Pastor Fox better! They are a good team together, as Pastor Fox is very resourceful and full of good ideas, and Daddy is creative and good at figuring out how to make those ideas a reality!:)
Once again, we are grateful for a good time of fellowship with like-minded believers! This verse is very appropriate to close with, as it reminds us of how God calls us to respond to other believers and what to be on guard for when we are with others! Praise the Lord for the gift of fellowship!:)
"Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others."
Philippians 2:1-3
