An Evening at the Beach

Mom isn't a fast typist, so by the time she finished that last post she needed some outdoor time. So we all piled into the van and headed to the beach.
First we stopped off at Albertson's for some chicken and lemonade
we sat near the water by a sand bank and had dinner
 Plenty of sea weed...
it was an interesting evening- it looked very grey and cloudy with rays of sunlight bursting through the clouds and the water was pretty warm
There is Joe with his chicken leg
Evie fell asleep on the ride there. When she woke up sometime later she was really excited to see the beach and especially the seagulls. She really likes birds.
Dad usually wears his shoes on the beach, so this was a fun sight.
We walked the length of the beach (Corona Del Mar) then we let the children swim
 not Evie of course:)
Doesn't your Dad look pretty cool here?
The mist made these pictures look funny- that's Tim and Joe
It almost looks like they have a glow about them
If I turned the camera away from the water I could get a clear shot We really had fun and just in case you were wondering, we put plastic trash bags on the seats for the wet ones to sit on- including myself:) Thanks Dad for taking us to the beach.  He's usually tired after work, but makes time to do these special things with us.These little things mean so much to us.:) We are truly rich having one another.

Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. 1 Timothy 6:17
