May Days:)

May was a full month. First off, the Lord has provided us with a new van which we are really enjoying! This van is somewhat different as it has shoulder belts on all the seats. Our old one had lap belts in the middle seats. Old Van
New:)
Living in the city and being indoors too long is always hard for us as a family, so Saturday, Mama decided we would take a hike at Casper's Wilderness Park! We really enjoyed getting out in the fresh air and sunshine without all the street noise and traffic. We are hoping to go more often!:)
All thses photos are from the first hike which only the boys took. Mama, Katie and I took the three littlest to the playground.
Enjoying a ride on the tire swing
The teeter-totter provided alot of fun and everyone except for Mama, rode on it:)
Up, we go
On one end....
.......on the other end
Next came the slides
Timmy didn't want to let go of the handle bars here:)
The results of this picture were quite different than the last time Natey used this zipline. A year ago, he only made it halfway, fell, and broke his wrist. This time, He made all the way across, safely with no broken bones!:)
Daniel and Katie using the tire swing. (The boys joined us after their hike.)
"Hello!"
The"grande" slide ( BIG in Spanish)
Inside the park

The next day was Sunday. During the course of the afternoon we were invited to go to the park for a walk with some friends from church. This was another refreshing time and it provided plenty of exercise.
A picture of the lake, taken by Ryan.
Cristin invited Katie, and I to ride with her, so our friend Paul came with Mama and the little ones. Timmy and Joshy really like him and it was cute to see him walking them.
Mama and I carrying the two little ones
This was pretty much the group we walked with until we met up with some others. Here Katie and Rachel are in front, with Mama, Timmy and Cristin, and Amy, Joshy and I bringing up the rear. Ryan, Daniel and Paul were usually in the back but, they didn't make it in this picture.
Isaiah didn't really want his picture taken here but, Timmy didn't seem to mind:)
We sat by the lake for a bit and talked. Here is Katie listening to Rachel describe something.
The boys playing...the water was too much of a temptation for the little ones and we quickly found ourselves taking the muddy guys to the van. Thankfully it wasn't too bad and they were soon dry.
Monday was our church's annual Memorial Day Game and Barbeque. This is probably one of the funnest days of the year! Our church reserves one of the fields at a nearby park and a game of softball is open to whoever would like to play, for about two hours. Following that, is the barbeque and then the rest of the time is spent playing games like, ultimate frisbee, tennis, volleyball, football, etc.
talking
a board game
The Iorga family, manning the burgers and hot dogs:)
The park also has a nice big playground which the little ones look forward to each year.
Daniel, ribsticking:)
Natey, going through the lunchline.
Winston got to spend some time with his Daddy Duke
This is a picture of our Pastor's grandaughter. It was just too cute to pass up!:)
getting a group to play a game
Daddy recently got a remote control car for his birthday. He had fun racing it around with some of the guys.

I don't have any pictures of the latest activity here at home. We have been busy wiping walls, scrubbing baseboard and re-painting in the kitchen, livingroom and hall! We had been needing and wanting to get this job done for awhile now! It has been neat to see how as we do it in His time, God's timing, everything works out perfectly! Not only were we able to paint, but, the Lord provided a couch, rug, and curtains, for the kitchen too, that match wonderfully! It is such an encouragment to see the Lord work out the small things so well and realize that if He can do that for the little things how much more will He do for the greater things?!?
"He has made everything beautiful in it's time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end."
Ecclesiastes 3:11

I really enjoyed the pictures. Beautiful, and it looks like would have been a super day. It looks like the little ones on the swings are flying through the air. ;o )
