A long overdue post!

Last week was Memorial Day! Our church has a ballgame and barbecue at a nearby park, which we always look forward to each year!

We started off the morning, as usual, with a good old game of softball! I usually play, but this year, I was assigned, "Child Care and Cheering!" (Mama needed to do some last minute thing for the barbecue and had left.)It was fun to watch as different people stepped up to the plate, waited, swung the bat, whacked the ball and ran for dear life! I was especially excited and cheered louder as Nathanael, our 6 year-old, stepped up to the plate with a huge smile and tried his first attempts at softball! He did a good job and although he didn't even make it to first base, his smile never faded! The game lasted for about two hours and the little ones, which had been in the stroller were tired of watching. So off we headed, our destination was.......

brothers watching the game.....Joshua decided here, to give his brother a hug!

....the PLAYGROUND! On the way, we saw a white, 15-passenger van pull into the parking lot. There was Mama, who received a few waves and smiles!
We met a crowd of happy and excited children as we reached the playground. The boys, Natey and Joshy were squirming in their seats as I unbuckled them from the stroller! I had to keep on my feet and watch, as they went running from slide to slide and swing to swing! Mama came over and told me I was now "off Duty" and could go join the other young ladies.

Enjoying a double swing......

I found some of them at a game of Frisbee and did not need a second invitation! I readily agreed, to those who called me to join!

Fun games always fly by and soon we decided to head over to the barbecue to eat something!

Our cooks.....somewhat.

Lunch Line....

Lunch was delicious and everyone was soon done! We girls, decided to play "Telephone"
since we were all siting side by side! We enjoyed qutie a few rounds and a few went off to skate while others, to play tennis. The rest of the afternoon was spent playing frisbee, attempting, on my part, to play tennis, and watching the the guys and one of the girls, playing basketball.

Overall the day was long and hot, but it was a very good day! Praise the Lord for such memories!

Right now we are trying to fix up our house a bit as it needs paint! Mama and Ryan have been working very hard to paint the bathrooom and put up new border paper. First they had to remove the old border paper and wipe the walls. Now thay are painting.....

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Daddy had a very special day, accompanied by his brother in law, to spend the day at his favorite amusement park(s), Disneyland and California Adventure! (Since I was not there, I asked him to tell me al ittle about his day!) He was able to get in free, thanks to a friend and started the day off with a roller coaster! After that, he tried some new rides and also enjoyed old ones. The day went by very quickly and Daddy brought back pictures and stories! We were glad Daddy was able to have such a nice day! Here are a few highlights of the day!

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day, to the Best Mother ever....Linda Rosette Sebo!!!!!! We love you Mama! Thank you for everything!!!! The Lord bless you!

Happy mother's day to all Mothers!!! We hope you have a wonderful day!!!!

Proverbs 31:10-31 (KJV)

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

A Busy Week

What a busy week this last week was!!! We helped with the Basic Seminar at church, which was alot of fun! The Weston's, a family at our church, were in charge and they gladly accepted our help! Daddy ran the Basic, Mama did childcare, Ryan helped keep the book table, and I did registration with Emily and Mrs. Weston!

Daddy preparing for the Basic....

Emily and I at registration.....

Monday night went well. Although, we did not have as big a turnout as expected! We had about 12-13 people register. Emily and I decided to go in and attend the first session, as there was not much registration to do. Mrs. Weston, faithfully stayed after us, so as not to miss any late comers. After the sessions were done for the night our families closed up the church and left, tired and a bit discouraged at the turn out.

Tuesday night came quickly! We arrived at the church at 4:30pm and Mama dropped Ryan and I off at church.
Awhile ago, Emily had asked me to take her senior pictures and so we had decided to do it Tuesday night. I was pretty nervous as I had never taken senior portraits before, but Emily prayed with me and the Lord really helped me! (Emily made it so easy!! Thank you, Emmy!!! ) Here are a few of my personal favorites:

Afterwards, Emily, very generously and kindly, took me out for Starbucks! I was absolutely thrilled!!! She bought me a delicious frappchino and we had a lovely time outside by the fountain!! We had to hurry back to church to help set up, but those few minutes were wonderful! Thank you, Emily!

An artistic picture for "Starbucks lovers."
(If your one, let us know with a comment......even if you don't usually leave one!)

I think my face tells it all....

Friends by a fountain....
Wednesday night went well, we attended the Basic sessions and were joined by Rachel and her brother for the evening! It was strange not to have the SWORD program going on, but the session was good, and we needed to hear it again!

Thursday, was a busy day! We had the privilege of visiting Daddy's work, Panasonic. They took us on a tour, showed us the different systems and explained how their company worked. It was neat to see what Daddy did everyday, why he did it and what it would be like to work there. Here are a few highlights of the day......

Daddy works with a family friend, Uncle Frank, here we got a picture with him.

Ryan and Katie testing the systems.....

Daniel and his buddy, Mr. Herman, who kindly led the tour....

The two little girls on either side of me are the daughters of one of Daddy's Christian co-workers, Melissa and Eli( it's pronounced "Elee") Here we are testing out systems. We had great fun together!

Listening....
Ryan, watching...... you can see me in the back, trying to help Melissa with the audio on her system.
After we were done at Daddy's work we went to church for the Basic, it was a little busier as it was "Visitor Night."

Friday- Saturday we went to the Anger Resolution Seminar for the first time, which was all day. Again, Emily and I did registration. We were in for a surprise! We had about 30 people register for the Anger and ended up moving it into the sanctuary, beacause we did not fit in the Fireside room. I really learned alot and it was neat to hear the past experiences of others who had conquered Anger through the power of spoken blessings!

I did not take alot of pictures this last week, due to the fact that my camera had to be sent in for repair and Daddy has kindly lent his little Panasonic camera till it returns, but here is a group shot of the ladies who attended the Anger Resolution Seminar.

Lois and Ruthie joined us Friday night.....

I was very grateful for this past week! The Lord really worked in me and showed me plenty of areas I needed work in! It was a blessing to be able to talk and share with other fellow believers and to be refreshed in the Lord! We also had a few games of "Ultimate Frisbee", which caused our 20 minute breaks to fly by!!! Overall it was a great week!

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. (KJV)

Timothy's First Birthday!

Our "Little Man" is now officially one! We are so proud of our little guy!

The Birthday Boy with Mama and Daddy

He quite a day and one so busy we'll just fast-forward to the evening.

Oma had come to visit, while the rest of the family and Grandma, whose been staying with us while she's on spring break, were out getting the cake and running errands. Ryan and I had been left at home to tend to duties and greet Oma when she arrived. We talked and visited with Oma.

Daddy came home and soon the family returned form their errands. We all ate pizza for dinner and then visited a short while. I decided to take the birthday boy with Natey and Joshy to jump on the trampoline and play while Mama and Daddy prepared his cake. We had great fun. Daddy came outside all too soon and said it was time for cake.

His swing, he loves!

Outside on the trampoline.....

First cake.....

The birthday orchestra played. The Birthday orchestra is made up of three instruments, a violin, harp and harmonica

We sang, presented him his cake, a hush filled the room, I pressed down on the shutter button of my camera and he began!

Here's a short clip of him eating his cake!!!

It has been such a joy to watch him grow! It's amazing to think a whole year has already passed! We are so grateful to the Lord for our little guy! We hope and pray he will grow up to be a godly man!

Happy 1st Birthday Timothy!

Timothy Donald Sebo
Born: April 7, 2008

(Wow! I can't believe he's already a year old! He has grown so fast!)

Timothy has been a delightful bundle of joy and energy to our family! He is so happy! His smile radiates from his face and he proudly shows his new teeth! He is already ready to walk and he often tries to! It's so cute to watch him hold on to a chair or object, pull himself up, take a few steps, fall and try again! Often when he takes a few steps, we all cheer and he, excited, laughs so hard he falls on his bottom! He really is a bundle of joy! My favorite thing he does is when he curls up in my lap, rests his head on my chest and sighs a contented sigh. How precious! What a special, amazing, precious gift children are! It is so amazing to see how time flies! We love him very much!
