Winston's New Home



Hi Folks! Sorry I haven't been posting as usual! I have been super busy with mom due in April and Dad and the guys building a home for Winston.






Dad decided that Winston needed a place to play safely so with that he and his gentlemen began the project of building a fence between the house and the garage.

What are you?

Wreckers or Builders

I watched them tearing a building down,a gang of men in a busy town.
With a ho-heave-ho and lusty yell,they swung a beam and a sidewall fell.
I asked the foreman, "Are these men skilled,as the men you'd hire if you had to build?"
He gave me a laugh and said, "No indeed!
Just common labour is all I need.I can easily wreck in a day or twowhat builders have taken a year to do.
"And I tho't to myself as I went my way,which of these two roles have I tried to play?
Am I a builder who works with care,measuring life by the rule and square?
Am I shaping my deeds by a well-made plan,patiently doing the best I can?
Or am I a wrecker, who walks the town,content with the labour of tearing down?

Joshua's Birthday!!!!!






That's right! He's 2! He's grown soo fast!



We started the day off with his first haircut! He wasn't quite sure what we were doing to him but he was perfectly still for the barber and she was thrilled! Whenever she or anyone else said "Happy Birthday" he would wish them so too!
After that we took him to Hometown Buffet where he enjoyed macaroni and cheese, french fries, chocolate milk and more! Full and happy, we left to go to LA (my aunt was waving from Italy and we needed to go pick her up) on the way up we stopped at a small dutch store and visited some friends! We got to pick out a special treat and took a cute picture of Joshua in a dutch boy's hat! We had to do his cake and present another day but, he enjoyed the farm truck with animals and farmer, and cake and ice cream!
Thank the Lord for giving us such a blessing! Truly as the Bible says, Children are a heritage from the Lord!

New Year's Eve....








Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!!!





Hi Folks! I know I haven't posted in a long time! We've been really busy with Christmas and The New Year! It's hard to believe 2008 is here!


Christmas was lovely here in sunny CA! We had family over and a Christmas Bicycle instead of tree because our tree died! It was really funny! We said goodbye to our Aunt who was leaving for Italy and picked her up today!



New Year's was spent at Church with lots of friends! We enjoyed alot of fun, challenging games and a few men prayed as the new year dawned . We got home at 3:00am and crashed the next day! (Not a great way to start out....)

Playing on the Trampoline.

One of my favorite things to do in my spare time is play with Joshua and Natey on the trampoline. Although I look ridiculous and messy it is still sooo much fun! We often get pretty wild! Here are some pictures.

"The Runaway Object"


This little boy has had many adventures. Some which will be written for you to read and others are yet to come. Perhaps one day you will be part of one .......we shall see.
He was having good day, mum was teaching the older kids while he roamed around free. Free! It was so nice not to be cooped up in his horrible playpen or monstrous crib. Well not monstrous, but certainly annoying when one is full of energy and wants to explore the world. So off he toddled down the hallway the small pit pat of his feet could be heard. He was determined to use up some of that energy!
Halfway down the hall he stopped and turned around to see his big sister Ashley coming. He smiled and quickly turned back to his mission. Slowing his pace he saw something. What was it? He did not know, but one thing for sure, he knew was he was going to find out. He broke into a run and after arriving next to the strange object he bent over to examine it. Reaching out to grab it he was surprised to see it disappear! For a minute he stared then tried again. It disappeared again! After several times of failing he was a bit frustrated, but he was not about ready to give up! Again he tried and again but every time it disappeared when he tried to grasp it! Now what should he do???? He thought for awhile and then began to shout at it! "Go! Go!" When that didn't work he stamped his foot and shaking his finger at it yelled "Stop! Stop!" Nothing happened. He was quite confused and worried. Big sister Ashley approached him laughing and said " Joshua look." With that she closed the door and the strange thing disappeared. He was stunned! When Ashley opened the door again he had to look twice! There it was again! Now he knew it had something to do with the door and that he could not pick it up so with that he toddled off back to his mission. Later he heard Ashley saying something about "a light beam.......... and Joshua.......It was so funny.....he didn't know what it was.......tried to pick it up" He wondered and smiled at his sister who had come out of the room. Afraid she would put him in his "Prison" (the crib) he scampered off quickly. No one was going to get the best of him, No Sir...............except for maybe a light beam.

Here is our baby growing strong and healthy under the tender, loving care of our dear Lord. It is to soon to tell whether it is a boy or girl. So we'll just have to wait! In the mean time thanks to all those of who are praying!

Number 8 is on the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I haven't posted in a long time! We have been especially busy since we found out that mum is expecting another baby! We are all very excited! Mum has already had several doctor appointments and is doing healthy besides feeling sick! She has an absolutely funny diet. She often will wake daddy at some hour of the night and ask him to go and get her some tacos or a burger. Her cravings are tacos, burgers, jalapeno bites and ice cream! The due date for the baby is sometime around April 13th. Please keep praying! I'll try to keep you posted!

My Sweet Princess





Since I love taking portraits I decided to take some of my little sister! I like this one best of all!


This is Caytlin or Katie as I often call her. She is my gift from God! Her story is so neat!


Being the oldest of three children and being the only girl was fine but soon you get lonely, like I did! I prayed that mum would have another baby. Soon I found out mum was pregnant!!!!!!!!!


Although the doctors said the baby was 90% a boy I kept praying for a sister! The night my mum went into labor I prayed before I got into bed "Lord, please let the baby be a girl!" My mum thought "Ok Lord, how are you going to do that one!"


Tucked away in bed I soon fell asleep. Soon Daddy was shaking me to wake up, dress and get into the van, Mum was going into labor!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Staying at a friend's house, I was informed the next morning that I had a new baby sister! I was so excited I barely eat breakfast!


Later at the hospital I held in my arms for the first time Caytlin Victoria Sebo, my very own little sister! She was so small and precious and all mine! I was so blessed the summer day!


Don't you think her story is neat, Because I sure do and only the Lord could make it happen that way! Thank the Lord for my little Princess!

ATI Conference 2007




2007 ATI Conference in Sacramento was wonderful!! Aside from being 103 degrees outside, the conference center was a cool 65-70 degrees (sometimes TOO cold). We made new friends, like the Johnsons and Winslows, and ran into some old friends too... A fun and inspiring time was had by all - We even got to meet Bill Gothard (he gave the kids money for quoting scripture too)! Next year, we plan to do a lot more sightseeing and maybe stay at a nicer hotel closer to the conference.

What We Do Every Day


Each morning (Monday- Friday) we send Daddy off to work in a very special way. We all follow him out to his car and sing him a song that Mom wrote the words to called, "We'll Follow Our Daddy." Then we all give him a kiss goodbye. (They say men have more productive days when they get a kiss goodbye before work. Wow! I wonder what 8 kisses does.) Then comes the count down 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1-BLAST OFF!
Then he drives off. Hold on, we're not done yet! We all wait till he gets to the end of the alley and then he waves and we spin around in a circle and wave goodbye back. Then we go back inside and we pray the Lord's blessing's on him. Now he's ready for work.

The hand of God in Pizza Hut!!!!

We walked into the Pizza Hut. Our Opa(grandpa in Dutch) was celebrating along with his grandson their birthdays and had chosen where to eat.
Right away mummy's eyes told me everything she was thinking. Three TVs sat in the dinning area and several video games. All of us kids looked at mommy uncomfortably. We sat at a large table and immediately our eyes were drawn to the tempting "black boxes."

One huge TV was playing soccer and two medium size TVs, one playing some bad movie and the other a Spanish Soap opera.
As we waited for the pizzas to come it was hardly impossible not to look at the TVs. Mum and I tried to think of ways to distract the kids from looking at the TVs. It was pretty hard.

Suddenly I heard a voice in my head say" You fool! pray. Quickly I bowed my head and prayed "Lord please make the TVs break or stop working. In Jesus name I pray Amen." I then announced to my mum that the TVs were going to stop working.
A few minutes later the TV on our Lefts cable went out. "One down two more to go God." I thought.
The TV was so annoying from the static so mummy asked if they could turn it off! A few minuets later after the first TV was turned off the second TV on our rights's cable went out!
"Ha ha" I thought as the employee ran and turned it off. One left! The big TV in the center lost signal." Lord, please keep the TVs broken until we leave or turn them off!"I prayed again.
Several workers tried to get the TVs working again. Mum and I felt like jumping up and down.
I was absolutely thrilled and excited to see God working there in the pizza Hut ,watching the workers astonished faces, angry people who wanted the TVs to work!!!!!!!
As I walked out I turned back to look one more time. The TVs were all turned off.
