IF JESUS CAME TO YOUR HOUSE
If Jesus came to your home to spend a day or two —
if He came unexpectedly, I wonder what you'd do?
Oh, I know you'd give your nicest room to such an honored Guest,
and all the food you'd serve Him would be the very best,
and you would keep assuring Him you're glad to have Him there —
that serving Him in your home is joy beyond compare. But —
when you see Him coming,
would you meet Him at the doorwith arms outstretched in welcome, to your heavenly Visitor?Or would you have to change your clothes before you let Him in,or hide some magazines, and put the Bible where they'd been?Would you turn off the radio and hope He hadn't heard, and wish you hadn't uttered that last, loud, hasty word?Would you hide your worldly music and put some hymn books out?Could you let Jesus walk right in, or would you rush about? And I wonder — if the Savior spent a day or two with you, would you go right on doing things you always do?Would you go right on saying the things you always say?Would life for you continue as it does from day to day?Would your family conversation keep its usual pace, and would you find it hard each meal to say table grace?Would you sing the songs you always sing, and read the books you read, and let Him know the things on which your mind and spirit feed?Would you take Jesus with you everywhere you planned to go?Or would you, maybe, change your plans for just a day or so?Would you be glad to have Him meet your very closest friends,or would you hope they stay away until His visit ends?Would you be glad to have Him stay forever on and on,or would you sigh with great relief when He at last was gone?It might be interesting to know the things that you would do,if Jesus came in person to spend some time with you.

What are you?
Wreckers or Builders
I watched them tearing a building down,a gang of men in a busy town.
With a ho-heave-ho and lusty yell, they swung a beam and a sidewall fell.
I asked the foreman, "Are these men skilled,as the men you'd hire if you had to build?"
He gave me a laugh and said, "No indeed!
Just common labour is all I need.I can easily wreck in a day or twowhat builders have taken a year to do.
"And I tho't to myself as I went my way, which of these two roles have I tried to play?
Am I a builder who works with care, measuring life by the rule and square?
Am I shaping my deeds by a well-made plan, patiently doing the best I can?
Or am I a wrecker, who walks the town, content with the labour of tearing down?

Pastor Tomlinson of Liberty Baptisit Church used this poem in his sermon on Sunday January 27th, 2008. He asked a very important question. "Are you a wrecker or a builder in your life?"
Chew on that for awhile......

Joshua's Birthday!!!!!
That's right! He's 2! He's grown soo fast!
We started the day off with his first haircut! He wasn't quite sure what we were doing to him but he was perfectly still for the barber and she was thrilled! Whenever she or anyone else said "Happy Birthday" he would wish them so too!
After that we took him to Hometown Buffet where he enjoyed macaroni and cheese, french fries, chocolate milk and more! Full and happy, we left to go to LA (my aunt was waving from Italy and we needed to go pick her up) on the way up we stopped at a small dutch store and visited some friends! We got to pick out a special treat and took a cute picture of Joshua in a dutch boy's hat! We had to do his cake and present another day but, he enjoyed the farm truck with animals and farmer, and cake and ice cream!
Thank the Lord for giving us such a blessing! Truly as the Bible says, Children are a heritage from the Lord!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!!!
Hi Folks! I know I haven't posted in a long time! We've been really busy with Christmas and The New Year! It's hard to believe 2008 is here!
Christmas was lovely here in sunny CA! We had family over and a Christmas Bicycle instead of tree because our tree died! It was really funny! We said goodbye to our Aunt who was leaving for Italy and picked her up today!
New Year's was spent at Church with lots of friends! We enjoyed alot of fun, challenging games and a few men prayed as the new year dawned . We got home at 3:00am and crashed the next day! (Not a great way to start out....)
I'll update more later but for now here are some pics from New Year's Eve and Christmas!
